Getting Here

The Good From Scratch Cookery School farm is located 40 minutes from downtown Auckland.

Depending on which direction you are coming from you will generally be going against rush hour traffic during the week for full-day classes.
Kumeu does get busy during the weekends with people heading out to the beach and forest, so allow extra time for travel.

Getting to The Good From Scratch Cooking School
376 Taiapa Road, Muriwai

North-Western Motorway

Head to the end of the North-western (SH16).

Kumeu & Huapai

Keep on through Kumeu and Huapai.

Waimaukau

Turn left at the Waimaukau roundabout to head out towards Muriwai beach on Muriwai road.

Muriwai Rd to Oaia Rd

Before heading down to the beach, Muriwai Rd turns onto Oaia road. Note: do not turn down towards the beach, Motutara Rd.

Entrance at Oaia, Taiapa and Constable roads junction

Our entrance is located at the end of Oaia, at the junction of Oaia, Taiapa and Constable roads.

Taxis & Shuttles

Taxi services, Uber and private shuttles all service the Muriwai area. I would however recommend hiring a car, that way you can take in some other sites whilst out in the Nor-west area.
